When you tap the shutter, Citadel sends the image to an AI vision model that reads everything printed on the card — the name, artwork, set symbol, rarity and collector number — and works out the exact printing rather than just the card name. It recognises foil and reverse-holo treatments, alternate arts, and cards sealed inside graded slabs, where it also reads the assigned grade. The identified printing is matched against Citadel's catalog, and the current market price is attached automatically.
