    Community Guidelines

    1. Our Community

    Citadel TCG is a community for trading card game enthusiasts. These guidelines apply to all user-generated content on the platform, including posts, comments, chat messages, reviews, listings, page content, and profile information. Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, or termination.

    2. Be Respectful

    • Treat others with dignity and respect, even in disagreements
    • No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
    • No hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
    • No doxxing or sharing others' personal information without consent

    3. Be Honest

    • Do not impersonate other users, companies, or public figures
    • Do not create fake accounts or manipulate engagement (fake likes, follows, reviews)
    • Marketplace listings must accurately describe item condition, edition, and any defects
    • Do not post fake reviews or ratings
    • Do not spread misinformation about card values, availability, or other users

    4. Prohibited Content

    • Illegal content: Anything that violates applicable law, including counterfeit goods, stolen items, and illegal activities
    • Spam: Unsolicited promotional content, repetitive posts, or automated/bot-generated content
    • Malware and phishing: Links or files designed to compromise user security
    • Graphic violence: Excessively violent, gory, or disturbing imagery
    • Child exploitation: Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors — reported to authorities immediately
    • Terrorism content: Content promoting, supporting, or glorifying terrorism
    • Self-harm: Content promoting or instructing self-harm or suicide

    5. NSFW Content

    Content that may not be suitable for all audiences (e.g., artistic nudity, mature themes in card art) must be properly flagged as NSFW. NSFW content is only visible to verified 18+ users. Content that is pornographic, sexually exploitative, or depicts real nudity without consent is prohibited regardless of NSFW flagging.

    6. Marketplace Conduct

    • Do not list counterfeit or replica cards
    • Do not manipulate prices through shill bidding, wash trading, or coordinated buying
    • Fulfill orders promptly and communicate with buyers about shipping
    • Do not cancel orders to relist at higher prices
    • Respect buyer rights, including the right of withdrawal where applicable
    • Do not use the messaging system to arrange off-platform transactions to avoid platform fees

    7. Intellectual Property

    • Only upload images you own or have the right to use
    • Respect the intellectual property of card game publishers and other creators
    • Do not distribute pirated or unauthorized digital content

    8. Advertising and Promotion

    • Paid ads must comply with our Advertising Policy
    • Partners and influencers must disclose their relationship with Citadel TCG in accordance with our Partner Terms and applicable law (e.g., FTC guidelines)
    • Do not use posts, comments, or messages for undisclosed advertising

    9. Content Moderation

    9.1 How We Moderate

    Content moderation is performed through:

    • User reports: Any user can report content they believe violates these guidelines
    • Admin review: Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team
    • Proactive monitoring: We may use automated tools to detect obvious violations (spam, known illegal content), subject to human review before action

    9.2 Actions We May Take

    Depending on the severity and frequency of violations:

    • Warning: Notification that content violates guidelines
    • Content removal: Specific content removed with a statement of reasons
    • Temporary restriction: Limited access to certain features for a specified period
    • Account suspension: Temporary inability to use the account
    • Account termination: Permanent removal from the platform

    9.3 Appeals

    If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal through our internal complaint-handling system by emailing info@castellum-forge.net within 6 months of the decision. Appeals are reviewed by a different member of the team than the one who made the original decision. Decisions on appeals are not solely made by automated means.

    10. Reporting Illegal Content

    In accordance with the Digital Services Act (EU) 2022/2065, Article 16, anyone (not just registered users) may report content they consider illegal through:

    When submitting a report, please include: a description of why the content is illegal, the URL or location of the content, and your contact information. We will acknowledge receipt and process reports in a timely, diligent, and non-arbitrary manner.
